General Stuff

As you can tell I am horrible at remembering to come here and update.....but writing is something I have always struggled to do-especially when there is not much to write about in my life. I pretty much spend all my time working-which is what I should be doing now but I'm taking a little time for me for a change. I've been doing Jenny Craig since the end of May now and have lost 35 pounds so far. I have about 120 more to go to get to my original goal-for the most part I am finding it rather easy to stick to it. Once I get a more recent picture I'll let others see. I've coloured my hair so it's a bit darker than I'm used to-but that's the only way to cover the gray I'm beginning to find and I'm just not ready for that. It was enough of a shock to see that Madonna and the Beastie Boys were nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame......now that may not seem like that big a deal to many people-but these were artists that I listened to growing up that were considered rebellious.....and you cannot be nominated for the Hall of Fame until you've had a career of at least 25 years.....I want to know when I suddenly became old.....I still intend to fight it but age won a battle yesterday and its victory is still lingering. That's about it-I really should get some work done so I can leave.
